About Me
I pursued my degrees from the University of Toronto, Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, and the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy. I bring together almost a decade of clinical knowledge and experience in the management of sport injuries. Strength and conditioning is at the core of my sessions with a combination of manual therapy including manipulation, mobilization, soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, and functional range conditioning.
I am an advocate for integrating strength training into youth sports culture, believing it is crucial for injury mitigation, performance enhancement, and overall longevity in athletics. I am dedicated to teaching young athletes the principles of proper movement mechanics, strength development, and empowering them to become proficient movers and lifters.
Central to my approach is fostering a love for the journey of self-improvement, both physically and mentally for my patients. Far too often do I see individuals pushing through aches and pains, relying on assistive devices and braces, a trend I try to change through education and proactive care.
To achieve this, you can expect a personalized plan that combines clinical rehabilitation and strength + conditioning, to create a unique experience that keeps you progressing towards your goals and beyond.
I always say
You don't play sports to get strong,
you get strong to play sports!
This underscores the importance of building resilience and capacity of the body whether you are competing at the highest level or keeping up with activities of daily living.
At THE HIVE, we collaborate closely with coaches, physiotherapists, trainers, nutritionists, and psychologists to provide holistic care that addresses each individuals’ unique needs.
Outside of the clinic, I love the outdoors! You will find me at the tennis courts, cycling through the streets of Toronto, and hiking around the world.
Together, we at THE HIVE are a community supporting each other to learn, to feel and move better.
I can't wait to start helping you achieve your goals!
